Johan van Stempvoort graduated from the State University of Groningen in 1972 and joined PlasBossinade that same year. He is specialized in real estate development and in immovable property (acquisition, tenancy, compulsory purchase, loss resulting from government planning decisions) and ecclesiastical law. Johan has been a partner since 1979. He is a member of the Landlord and Tenants Law Lawyers Association and of the Expropriation Lawyers Association. He is a lecturer at the vocational training for lawyers and the judiciary. He is co-author of the manual “Hoofdlijnen in het huurrecht (2003)” [main features in landlord and tenant law]. Apart from that he is deputy justice at the Court of Appeal in Leeuwarden.
